What are the Events associated with a person or family

If you want to add some additional information about a given person or family, click EVENTS. Some events are only associated with a person and some only with a family.

Smiths has some custom events
Person- items such as Military service, Tax Lists, Land Deeds, Land Grants or the all purpose FACT or EVENT- can put in a date and there is a tex field for description including sources, can also paste in a hyperlink
Family- CENSUS – You can add these. Choose Census as the event, put the YEAR of the census in Event Date, the location, separated by commas (ie, Franklin, OH, USA) in the Event Place and the census record in Detail. Detail is simply a *notes* type field
Another custom event is GRP, which we put in that goes to the matching group page on Smiths DNA.

The events in the list may change from time to time. For example, we originally thought it would be a good idea to put in a direct link to the old forum. But since we’re, over time, doing away with the old forum, it’s not needed and will probably be removed in the future.
