Welp. I'm about done going through the huge amount of emails that have come into the project, save one that I am halfway through working on. This included a huge raft of YDNA haplogroups for male members who have done autosomal tests; those haplogroups are included on the branch designations with the exception of members who are not testing their paternal Smith lines.

I am having some real difficulty getting some sites to work today, including Ancestry. I am not sure if Ancestry uses crowdstrike but probably everyone is aware that crowdstrike hosed a huge amount of sites since yesterday and it appears right now the only way to fix it is manually (We don't use crowdstrike on this site). Anyway, maybe that is coincidental for Ancestry, where I wanted to look at some trees, but no go. Fixing to call it a week and will look again on Monday.

My haplogroup has been updated to R-DF25. I was hoping that perhaps other members of this group would post some gedmatch numbers to compare. If no match - well that just proves they're very far b....read more.....
