The smithdna group M269-106 currently contains three family lines:
-- James Smith m Elizabeth Wright
- Alexander Smith m. Hannah Roman
- William Franklin Smith m. Tennessee Bartlett

The current line for Hedgeman Smith (I32531), m. Elizabeth Casper is not assigned to a group, but there is evidence that a descendant of Hedgeman Smith, via Gabriel Smith, via Granville Smith via David Napoleon Smith and, eventually to Gardell Smith matches an M269-106 kit.

So, if anyone in this Hedgeman Smith line has submitted a Big Y dna kit, please identify yourself. Proving, or disproving, Hedgeman Smith as M269-106, would greatly assist my explorations of the other M 269-106 lines.

P.S. Came back from vacay and found that where were a raft of bots invading this site, slowing it down and, for at least one of them, I see no valid reason for them to be crawling the site. Therefore....read more.....
