Your permissions on the Smith DNA Project (Official-All) should be set, for admins, to LIMITED. Every once in a while, I see a MINIMUM which means that the admins cannot see what your results are. For example, today a Big-Y result came in. What we normally do is go look at the Big-Y tree, see if the FTDNA shows matches on the terminal SNP, where it might fall in line with others if there are matches in the Smith DNA Project, and list it. That, of course, cannot happen if we can't see it. Just got done writing to one of the members asking him to please change his permissions -this is a link from FTDNA on how to do it from your profile on FTDNA. Especially in this one today, I hope that he will, as he would be the first one in his YDNA matching group to have done Big-Y and it could not only lend a lot of information to the group but also might encourage others to do Big- Y as well |
