married Catherine (unknown). had at least one son William B Smith b 1834 Fort Ann that died 13 Oct 1912 in Greensboro, Orleans County, Vermont. David and Catherine are listed on the death certificate of William B Smith b 1834 Fort Ann, Washington Co NY who married Marion M Wells. Probably this is that David Smith on the 1840 Fort Ann census with two males 5-9, 1 f 5-9 and 1 f 10-14 as children.
