CommentID 587 I am a member of this GRP R M269-82. My 4th great grandfather was named Benjamin Smith born around 1741. He married Ruth Perry of Natick, MA. There is an extensive record of him in Natick MA beginning shortly before his marriage to Ruth when he was a Natick town constable. I have been unable to establish the exact birth date nor parentage of Benjamin. However, I have managed to find a great deal of information about the ancestry of another M269-82 member, Peter Jackson Smith, going beyond Thomas Smith (b.1754). I believe the correct line is to Thomas's father Nehemiah Smith 1709-1800 son of John Smith 1679-1752 West Needham MA, son of John Christopher Smith 1655-1722 (Needham, MA), son of Christopher Smith 1615-1676 (Dedham, MA). There are many direct male descendants of Christopher in the Needham area with a number of whom went to the Windham CT area. Peter Jackson Smith and I have a 1-step match with our 37 Marker test kits. I have been hoping to find another person who is also close match and has additional information about their Smith lineage. Can you help me? Thanks,
