When/Where did James B. Smith die

My great grandfather Was born 19 Mar 1858 in Bollinger Co., MO.  He married on 11 Oct 1885 in Laclede Co., MO to Artemesie "Artie" Porter  (b. 21 Feb 1861 Dallas Co., MO d. 09 Aug 1947 Pittsburg Co., OK).

James & Artie were listed in the Green Co., MO census, then Artie was listed as a widow in the 1910 Okmulgee Co., OK Census.  Various folks on Ancestry list his death date as 10 Nov 1904 or 1908 in Oklahoma, but don't state in which county he died, an accurate date of death, and acceptable sources for such info.  I would also want to find out where he was buried.
