YDNA tester

Samuel E Smith's parents are unknown, he is first found in 1850 St Clair IL with his brother William in the household of the Nathan and Hannah Arnott (Arnett) family. He and Mary Holcomb married in 1855 in St Clair County, Illinois.

Member's best match on YDNA within the group is with a descendant of James S Smith b 1790 VA. If anyone knows more abou this line, please weigh in and of course if you have done DNA for this line, come join the Smith DNA Project
