      This 26 April 1803 I Thomas Mayfield being very sick in body but of perfect mind and memory to my beloved wife Anne Mayfield during her natural life one third of my land including the dwelling house if she chooses to live in it also her bed with the furniture the chest chairs, half the pewter, stock, hogs, cows and calves, To son John Mayfield all my land except my wife's as mentioned above. I desire that my two sons Abraham and John devided the rest of the property amongst all the children including themselves, likewise what property my wife have at her decease to be divided in like manner. Exors sons Abraham and John. wit: J. Benson, Sam White, William Mayfield. Prove 9 July 1803.
