She married Dick in 1950 in Weirton , later lived in Parkersburg, WV. In the late 1950's, they moved to Orlando, Florida.After Dick died, Evelyn moved to New Mexico with her oldest daughter. She developed dementia and went to a nursing home in Roswell New Mexico in August 2003.
She worked for 24 years for Martin-Marietta in Orlando.
Evelyn died 4 June 2007 in Hamilton, Montana in Hospice Care. She will be cremated aand her ashes will be scattered in Montana at a later date.

His sons, Meshack, Abednego and Isaac were to divide equally his dwelling Plantation of 95 acres , except the fulling mill. He named his 4 daughters, Hannah Ligit, Temperance Stevens, Jemima Stevens and Belily Tibbit. Executers were son Isaac and Walter Tabbett.

James and Stephen served in Captain William Nall's Company of Volunteers in the Augusta County Regiment during "Lord Dunmore's Warin 1774. The Regiment was commanded by Colonel Charles Lewis, under General Andrew Lewis. The Division left Camp Union in September 1774 and proceed to the Ohio River on which, at the mouth of the Great Kanawha , on Monday, October 10. 1774 it engaged in the Battle of Point Pleasant, the most desperate struggle ever waged between white men and Indians in America.(The Soldiery of West Virginia. Stephen and James served in the Revolutionary Army Infantry under their brother Charles in 1777.
